Privacy Policy

Your reminders, dates, and organizer details matter. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Lynkr.

This Privacy Policy describes the information collected, used, disclosed, and retained in connection with Lynkr: Your Personal Organizer ("Lynkr," "we," "our," or "us") and this informational website. Questions, requests, and concerns can be sent to lynkrsupport@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly when creating an account, using app features, or contacting support, and certain technical data needed for the app to operate.

  • Account details: email address, authentication details managed by our authentication provider, and an account identifier.
  • Organizer content: reminder titles and descriptions, tasks, due dates, recurrence details, completion status, and calendar-related details that you enter.
  • Subscription tracking: subscription names, prices, billing frequency, renewal dates, categories, and similar details you enter manually.
  • Household information: household names or membership details, invitations, permissions, and shared reminders if you use available household features.
  • Notifications and settings: reminder preferences, device notification permissions and related information needed to provide alerts.
  • Support requests: your email and any information you include in messages you send us.
  • Technical data: basic device, application, network, and diagnostic details that may be processed by infrastructure providers as necessary for account authentication, security, and reliable operation.

Lynkr does not require access to bank accounts or payment-card information for basic manual subscription tracking.

2. How information is collected

Information comes from information you type or select in Lynkr; account sign-in and authentication; your choices about reminders, notification permissions, and sharing; direct emails to support; and the technical services used to operate the app.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to create and maintain accounts; save, organize, and synchronize reminders and other app content; calculate subscription totals and highlight upcoming renewal dates; deliver notifications where enabled; support available sharing features; respond to support requests; maintain app security and reliability; investigate errors or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Disclosure of information

We share information only as needed for the app’s operation, at your direction, or for legitimate legal and security purposes:

  • Cloud service providers: Lynkr uses Google Firebase services for account authentication and cloud-based app data. Google processes information to provide these services under its applicable privacy and security practices.
  • Household participants: if you choose a sharing feature, the information you share may be visible to the household members you select, according to the feature’s permissions.
  • Legal and safety purposes: information may be disclosed where necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process, or to protect users and the service.

We do not use Lynkr to automatically discover or cancel subscriptions. We do not sell user-entered reminders or subscription records to advertisers. If services or data practices change, this policy will be updated.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards intended to protect information, including provider authentication and access controls appropriate to the service. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

6. Retention of information

Account details and app content are generally retained while an account remains active or as otherwise needed to provide requested features. Support messages and limited records may be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve issues, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the nature of the information and applicable requirements.

7. Access, correction, and deletion

You can typically review and edit reminders, subscriptions, and similar entries within Lynkr. For assistance with access to data, corrections, or deleting an account and associated personal information, email lynkrsupport@gmail.com. If the app provides a working Settings → Delete Account option, you may use it as directed in the app. We may verify your identity before processing a request.

Deleting the app from a device does not by itself delete cloud data connected with your account. Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

8. Notifications and device choices

Notifications are optional and depend on your device permissions and app settings. You can turn off Lynkr notifications in your device settings. Doing so may stop reminders from appearing as alerts, but will not necessarily delete scheduled content or your account.

9. Children's privacy

Lynkr is a general-purpose organizer and is not designed specifically for children under age 13. If you believe personal information relating to a child has been supplied without an appropriate basis, please contact us so we can review the concern.

10. International processing

Cloud services may process or store information in jurisdictions other than your own. The location of processing depends on the infrastructure and services used to provide Lynkr and on applicable legal requirements.

11. This website and external links

This informational website, as distributed, does not include advertising scripts or third-party analytics. It contains links to external provider websites; those websites are governed by their own privacy policies. If you choose to email us using a link on this site, your email provider handles that communication under its policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy when app features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and change its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
